I've apparently been 'glitching' out for a few weeks, according to some of the inn staff. I guess I'm back now.

A long time ago, great bird pokémon roosted atop the burned and tin towers. It seems to be the local lore around here, with them being tied to three great beasts who now roam the lands as well. Is there anything any of you might know about them?

I was stuck in a hotel room for weeks in a forced sleep. Apparently I was 'glitching' during that time.

That happens?

It's a good thing you didn't glitch back when we were there again. I mean, what if you came back, and you were in my Mom and Dads room y'know? We were staying there.

Point is that I'm back now.

... I also heard about there being a fighting tournament coming up in October.

Yeah! You're going, right? I am.

Fighting a person is different than taking on the pokemon.

Yeah! It's been ages since we've been able to do stuff like that.

Heh, kinda reminds me of the Chuunin Exams. Remember that?

[He almost mentions that they have actually fought, but decides against it. Those times were different, there was definitely some real murderous intent there. So instead, he grins.]
