Scene 1

[Sometime early Saturday morning - before he gets captured by Bowser, thankfully - Sasuke is seen on camera fighting hand-to-hand with his Lucario. Or, at least it appears to be hand-to-hand until Sasuke blows a giant fireball at the pokémon, who retaliates with an Aura Sphere. The two attacks collide and explode in mid-air before they go at it hand to hand again. The demonstration of special techniques, weapons expertise (from Sasuke anyway) and martial arts goes on for at least ten minutes before Sasuke calls a stop to it silently, causing Lucario to stand tall and nod.

That's about when Sasuke grabs the camera, smirking just a little bit as he wipes the sweat from his brow. It's something he hasn't done in a long time, and he has to say that it feels good to have his chakra and his weapons back.]

I guess it's happened again, hasn't it.

Naruto, Sakura, Tenten, Obito, Shino. I want to fight with all of you. Come to the Lake of Rage as soon as you can.

Scene 2

[In and around Olivine City appears to be none other than Sasuke Uchiha, but something seems different. He's clearly older, taller, and smiling a lot more - more relaxed than his younger self. He has an Arcanine at his side - Yōgan, for those who know him - who seems to be perfectly at ease with the man beside him, having recognized him as his trainer.

When he walks by, he flashes a smile and gives a wave before approaching, fearless and easy-going as he does so.]

Scene 3

[Somewhere in the Ilex Forest, a little boy is running around. He seems frightened and alone, though there is a familiar Arcanine trailing behind him. The ninja animal - at least, that's what he thinks it is - seems to bring him comfort, but it doesn't change the fact that he's lost. He was just training with his big brother to perfect throwing kunai, but now he doesn't know where he is. It's dark, and it doesn't look like the Uchiha training grounds at all!

It's only when he spots someone that he runs up, almost in tears but trying his hardest to hold back. That's when he clears his throat, a little flushed before looking up and asking.]

Uh, hi. Do you know how I can get back to the Uchiha training grounds? I was training with my big brother but I lost sight of him and... Now I have this ninja animal with me, he came in this weird ball, but I still don't know how to get back. Can you help me?

[[OoC: SO, THREE CHOICES. Scene 1, this account will be answering as that is just regular Sasuke only enhanced with his chakra. Scenes 2 and 3 will be replied to with worldscutestuchiha, for icons with both Flirtsuke (also known as Charasuke, an AU version of Sasuke from the latest Naruto movie) and seven-year-old Sasuke, who is from before the massacre. [Heck, maybe he's in the woods too. Either way, at least he doesn't look like he's about to cry, so she'll be offering him her hand now. Ready to get out of here, kiddo?]

[You bet he's ready. He's pretty much bouncing on his feet before he takes her hand, grinning widely when he does.]

Let's go then! Oh, I'm Sasuke by the way! What's your name?

[His enthusiasm is almost infectious, and reminds her of Serah when they were so much younger. She smiles a bit at him, standing once he's taken her hand.]

Lightning.

[She looks up at the "ceiling" of the forest, trying to cast a glimpse of the sky to find the sun...but no dice. Alright then. They're just going to have to pick a direction and walk. Or maybe...she looks at the Arcanine, tilting her head.]

You know...he's big enough to ride out of here. It's a lot faster than walking.

You think so? Hey, is it okay if we ride you doggy?

[Yōgan seems just a little bit put off by the lack of use of his name, but he barks and leans in to nuzzle Sasuke - causing the boy to laugh at the action - before he sits down and patiently waits for the two to climb onto his back.

And, in an instant Sasuke jumps onto Yōgan's back, enjoying the fluffy feeling of his fur and hugging him.]

Thanks! You're an awesome ninja animal!

[Lightning's a bit slower than Sasuke is, wanting to be of where her weight is in case they need to move quickly. Once she's up, she shifts to be sure Sasuke won't fall when the movement starts, and she gives Yōgan a look over the tyke's head. Don't run them into a tree, "doggy".

To Sasuke, however, she says only two words:]

Hang on.

[He barely has time to nod before Yōgan starts taking off to the north. He yelps and hangs on tightly, a little wide-eyed before he starts laughing and urging Yōgan on.]

This is so cool! You're really fast too! You're the best ninja animal ever, even better than the cats!

[Childish enthusiasm. Lightning tries to keep her smile small and unnoticeable while she keeps an arm around Sasuke to keep him from falling off. If there's one thing Arcanines are, it's fast. A fall at this speed would hurt]

[Oh it would hurt, but it'd be pain Sasuke could get over! He's hurt himself worse before! Wait that came out wrong...

It doesn't seem like Yōgan is too keen on his passengers falling off either though, and he slows down when he feels he needs to before he barks, indicating the gate he's seeing ahead.

Which impresses little Sasuke, even though he doesn't quite know how far they've gone.]

We're there already! That was fast!

[Still! Better to not have the pain at all.

Ah. There's the way out. When Yōgan slows to a stop, Lightning smiles down at little Sasuke and keeps her amusement under wraps. Are all little kids this way? Heck if she knows.]

Told you it was faster than walking. [Yōgan's flank gets a pat, but then Lightning reaches up to help Sasuke down from his back.] We're not far now.

[He accepts the help 'cause it's rude to not, but he could have jumped down himself!]

Thanks, Lightning-san! You're a really nice lady, you know? You kinda remind me of my mom!

[... Sasuke, you don't know what tact is, do you?]

[She blinks, startled. She reminds him of his mother? Etro, that's a bit of a shock--she's not the maternal type at all! She's...not going to think about that now and settles for shaking her head a bit once he's down.]

I doubt your Mom would have been too happy to let you ride something so fast.

[Her own mother wouldn't have been, anyway, and that's the only reference she has.]

Nah, she was real strict sometimes. She wouldn't let brother and I train together if we still had homework and stuff to do, but she was really nice too. She'd always make sure that I was training properly when I wasn't with brother so that I wouldn't end up hurting myself too badly. She doesn't do it as much anymore though, so I guess I'm getting better at it.
