14th Tomoe || Video, Action for Celadon City || Backdated to Jan. 19th, in the afternoon
[The gear turns on to find Sasuke walking through the warm and humid gym in Celadon City, with various grass types wandering around as the boy heads straight to the leader. Briefly it turns down to the top of someone's head, revealing black hair in neatly tied buns before it goes to one side, showing Obito waving and grinning at it. He gets a pleased cry in return before whoever is behind the gear tries to hold it steady on Sasuke.]
Leader Erika, right?
Hmm?
[She blinks up to Sasuke, startled out of a nap before covering her mouth to yawn politely.] Hello. Lovely afternoon... I'm sorry, I suppose I fell asleep. Yes, I'm Erika.
I challenge you to a battle.
Hm... I suppose that is why you would be here. I warn you now, challenger; I have been training myself not only on flower arrangement, but also in pokémon battles. I shall not lose.
[She gets to her feet then, smiling serenely at the ever-stoic Sasuke and only sparing the camera a glance before she lifts up her first pokéball.] Shall we?
[When Sasuke nods, the gym battle music starts up in full fanfare and Sasuke throws his first ball forward.] Ino!
[The Crobat in question lets out a cry before, as soon as she can, her eyes flash purple against the pokémon she's facing. As it so happens, it's Jumpluff. With swirls in its eyes, the Jumpluff struggles before the soft order Erika gave it registers and it turns to the sky, causing the lights to brighten considerably in the gym and the temperature to rise.
Undeterred, Ino's eyes glow blue, and Erika's mouth twitches at the attack before she smiles again.]
Confuse Ray and Mean Look? I wonder how far that will take you. Jumpluff, Stun Spore.
[Jumpluff manages to shake off the confusion and moves like lightning, whirling around as yellow spores fill the air. A lot of them get onto Ino, aggravating her movements and causing her to cry sharply when she starts to have trouble flying. Sasuke's clearly agitated, wanting to say something, but he's biting his tongue. What could he be up to?
Whatever it is, it's not coming into play as Ino can't seem to move fast enough between her own aggravated movements and her opponent's increased speed to dodge an attack from Jumpluff - Acrobatics, from the look of it. But, that one attack is all Ino needs as an opportunity; without much thought or hesitation, she grabs onto Jumpluff and performs the same move on it, making Jumpluff impact hard against the ground and hover with a wobble off of it.
A few moments later, Jumpluff collapses. Erika hums before returning it to its ball, leaving Ino victorious for the first round. But then the next opponent comes out.]
Tangrowth, use Ancient Power.
[The mass of blue vines responds with its vines aiming towards a moss-covered rock, said rock covered in a pale blue light before it's thrown towards Ino and slams straight into her face. Ino, naturally, wobbles under the impact, significantly weakened from the attack and causing Sasuke to seem even more aggravated. Still, he hasn't given a single order to the pokémon so far into the match.
Until then.]
Poison fang!
[She blinks, a little alert and glancing back to her trainer before following the command. With focus and breaking through her paralysis once more, her fangs sunk deep into Tangrowth, causing it to shudder and wince. But, unfortunately, it's not good enough.]
Ancient Power once more!
[At the very least, Erika seems to be getting more into the battle. But with that rock catching the movement-impared Ino once more, she flutters weakly before landing on the ground, unconscious from the attack. With a scoff, Sasuke returns her to the ball before throwing out the next.]
Hiruzen! Blaze Kick, now!
Ancient Power!
[The two attacks go off at once, but only one has the fortune of hitting hard; although Ancient Power is the first attack to make a strike for its opponent, it only hits against his arm (doing quite a bit of damage but not as much as it could have) and leaves Hiruzen open to kick his flaming foot right into Tangrowth's face. Said flames had erupted into large bursts during the kick, and the overwhelming heat and ferocity left Tangrowth wobbling before it too fell against Sasuke and his pokémon.]
My last pokémon. Don't go easy on me now. Bellossom, sleep powder!
[In a flash of light the small flowery pokémon comes out, winking briefly before she, very quickly, covered the field in blue powder. Dazed and tired, Blaziken wobbles and tries again and again to shake off the powder, but more and more he seems to get out of it.
It doesn't take long for something to snap him out of it, and that's a Leaf Blade to the chest. Stumbling back, the bird shrieks sharply before he finally shakes off the powder, eyes narrowing as the area around him seems to get even more hot, to the point where the air around him seems to distort. That, ladies and gentlemen, is what it looks like when the Blaze ability kicks in.
With a decisive blow, Hiruzen jumps up to land down hard on Bellossom with a Blaze Kick with even larger flames, letting out a victorious cry once he's landed on his feet to see the burnt out pokémon before him.
For all of five seconds before he falls to his knees, panting hard. When the victory fanfare plays and it's clear that it's over, Sasuke seems to relax with a ghost of a smirk tugging at his lips. Erika, surprisingly enough, also seems satisfied.]
You are remarkably strong... I concede. I shall give you the Rainbow Badge.
I'll come back when I'm stronger to face you with your best team. I won't have actually won against you until then.
[Briefly Erika looks surprised, but she smiles and nods to him after walking over to him and placing the little badge gently in his hand, closing his fingers over it and holding his hand in both of hers.]
I'm looking forward to it.

[After the battle, with his pokémon in their balls and Sakura back on his head, with a grinning Obito, Tenten, and Joonhee shown briefly before the shining is shown on the gear.]
One down.

Finding your own way to a victory is the most important part, yeah? You have that pretty well in hand.

... It's harder from here.
