[Enjoy that threatening text, network. Blame the fact that he doesn't have the bastard's pokégear information for it being broadcast publicly, though. But anyone who's around Sasuke at the time will likely see it as the first explicit show of emotion from him since he arrived in Route.]

[ when Sasuke's done, Sora stands and walks over. expression kind of serious ( how often does that really happen? ). Sasuke is probably expecting to be shoved. maybe hit.

that's not what he does though. Sora does what a stupid kid like him usually does. he follows his heart.

You're right. I don't really know what it's like to be alone. Even in Hallow Bastion, when someone took my Keyblade and my friends left, someone helped me get it all back. Even then, was I really alone? Roxas... Ventus... Xion... They're always in my heart, probably looking after me in ways I don't really know about.

[ if you're thinking about shaking him off, Sasuke, think again. Sora is immovable. ]

Just listen to your heart. Even though you try and try to push people away, you can't help but make them. I guess I can't ask you not to do it, what you think you have to do. But I can ask that you just listen to what your heart is really trying to tell you.

[ Sora takes a step back then, hands behind his head. ]

I can't pretend to understand everything you've been through or even why you'd be okay doing all of this. But I do know one thing.

You're not alone now or ever again. And you know what? I'm not going to give up on you.

[It's Sasuke's turn to be stunned, stiff and shocked when Sora hugs him. He's utterly still by the time the taller boy pulls back, eventually just falling to sit back on the bed with the overpowering hate and pain from earlier draining right out of him.]

[It's a lot to take in, but Riku'd been listening for a while now. When Sasuke started yelling, he rushed to the door, have tempted to jump in before things escalated.

It's impossible to justify the massacre of someone's family by anyone, let alone a sibling. Riku's had such a privileged life that he can't even begin to imagine what Sasuke went through.

He makes it to the door around the time Sora pulled Sasuke into the hug and just... stares for a little. That was not what he was expecting, and just like Sasuke's words, Sora's catch Riku's ear. Losing his Keyblade... He has a vague idea of what that might mean, but that's not the important part right now.

Rather than question what he's seen and heard, Riku slips into the room itself, wearing a faint smirk.]

Sora said it better than I ever could. Try and shove us aside all you want, but that's not gonna work.

[ Sora picks up one of those pillows and chucks it at Riku with a laugh. ]

Friends are forever. All for one and one for all sort of thing.

...

[How long has Riku been standing there? He fidgets a little on the spot, managing to sit still after a moment while keeping his eyes on the wall. Mostly because he's definitely speechless and just unsure of how to take everything now.]

...That's a bit too sappy for my tastes, but I can't say I disagree.

[He chuckles, tossing the pillow back at Sora.]

I might not be able to imagine what you've been through, but do you really think we'd judge you because of it?

[ Sora's giggle is impish.

that pillow? going straight for Sasuke's face. ]

Yeah... And even though you yelled all of that... Still kind of glad that you said something. Finally.

[And it's good! Sasuke jolts at the impact, blinking and looking just a ~~lot~~ little surprised at it.]

... Why would you be glad.

Because you finally let your feelings out instead of keeping them bottled up? You finally told us the honest truth?

[Riku places his hands on his hips and raises an eyebrow.]

Trust me. Internalizing isn't healthy. I should know.

Oh boy should he know.

[ he's just teasing, throwing his own hand over his mouth to stifle the laughter. ]

Anyway, yeah. It's like that. You told us what's up. That's a good thing for friends to do.

[At last he just sighs, finally regaining that seemingly permanent frown of his with his composure. But, somehow, it might seem just a little bit softer.]
