Thank you. My own friend was poisoned, we wish to put out an alert to ensure that as few people are affected as possible. If you have the means, a dose of activated charcoal as soon as possible after ingestion should help treat the symptoms. In theory, anyway.

It is extremely effective at absorbing toxins, both administered as a medicine and used to filter water. However, it will only work before the toxic material is absorbed by the bloodstream--while it is still in the digestive system. It will then carry the toxin out of the body.

Sadly, the berries do not work quite so well for the rest of us.
