Congratulations. The one you gave me evolved into Dragonite recently too.

[After a moment he'll add.]

I saw that he's here. What about him?

[Are you really heading to Kanto. Really. When she's leaving Kanto today. You jerk.]

Did she? I'm proud of her.

[She really should be more cheerful than that, but... her expression wavers a second before she forces another smile.]

Well, you saw he's from the future, right? So... well, let's just say me and him have a difference of opinion on you. Might be best if you stayed out of his way until I can knock some sense into him.

Yeah. We saw him on the route while we were heading the other way. He didn't speak to us at all.

[What? It's the same stuff she's been telling him already. Or trying to, anyway. At the pause, she couldn't help but flush and stare elsewhere, fingers nervously stroking the Dragonair's head until he answers.

Then a flush and a smile.]

...Anyway, I'm gonna take the ferry to get to Johto soon enough. Have to go grab the jerk out of Cherrygrove.
