[How does he even answer that? His entire world just got turned upside down, Itachi. He's learned that his 'home' never wanted him there. And that you were never a traitor, you only killed the clan so that the village would be peaceful and because the village wanted you to. Sure, he was safe, but at what cost?

None of that makes it to the text, thankfully.]

[He knows that two weeks is not nearly long enough to process years of lies. The truth had set an older Sasuke on the path of revenge. Will it do the same for this one?]

I imagine it may take some time to figure it out. And I also imagine your friends will not be happy with you being on your own.

That's not what I was getting at, Sasuke. [He's all for his brother taking some time away from them to figure himself out if he needs to.] If you need space to think then telling them that could stop them from bothering you so much.

But you are right, not even I could fully understand. That doesn't mean I won't listen should you feel the need to talk.

[That gets him to heave yet another sigh, and it takes him a little bit before he can trust himself to speak again.]
