Who wouldn't want to be? You're kinda mopey, but you're really someone who feels strongly about a lot of things.

Yeah, you're kind of a chicken too, but you want to protect yourself just as much as protect the people close to you.

Maybe that's why? Other than I think you just need more people that just want to help you and accept you.

[It's been over a week of the great showdown with Bowser. Ren hadn't really talked about it with anyone afterwards - even if he was there to witness the aftermath. He wasn't as involved with fighting Bowser as everyone else was, after all.

Still, there were things that bothered him a little. The atmosphere around the house recently and one of the kids' behavior. Ren wasn't really the type to worry about (almost) strangers, but... hey he knew how it felt to be chased by Team Rocket. And maybe he'd have some useful to say to the kid - who knew.

So there he was, outside Sasuke's room. He knocked.]

It's Ren. Do you have a minute?

[That's not Obito. He's a little tense and surprised from the company, but what does Ren want?

For a few long seconds he doesn't answer, shifting to sit up on his bed and put the gear away - having been looking over the messages from his conversation with Riku the other day - before he finally responds.]

[Ren opens the door and takes a few step inside the room. He'll admit that he's not familiar with these kind of situations, but he doesn't let that bother him too. It's most likely awkward for Sasuke too.]

I wanted to see how you're doing.

[That's strange coming from him isn't it? He'll add: ] It's because I know how it feels to be targeted by Team Rocket.

She looks better than she has for a while, at least, hair up in its customary buns since the only risk of people seeing her were those who already knew what she looked like.]

How about the feeling of not being able to do much about it? I know it bothers me that I can't really live normally because of them right now.
