Both of the pokémon I wanted to use have level and type advantages. To keep it as a fair match that would actually challenge them and my abilities as a trainer, I wanted to fight it two on three. If they had lost, I would have forfeited from there. I wouldn't have deserved the badge if I couldn't win with those two.
